Autor ovog teksta 12 godina je profesionalno bio zadužen za pisanje Općih uvjeta poslovanja i Uvjeta pružanja usluga u telekom svijetu i jako dobro zna kako kompanije balansiraju između regulatorne (zakonske) obveze transparentnosti, odnosno, javne objave informacija o načinu pružanja svojih usluga, i ostalih detalja za koje ne žele da korisnici previše propitkuju.
 
Globalni internetski giganti računaju na činjenicu da vrlo rijetko ili nikada ne čitamo njihove opsežne Uvjete korištenja (Terms of Service) na koje pristajemo samom instalacijom, a istovremeno njihove politike privatnosti (Privacy Policy) nisu konzistentne s onim što piše u Uvjetima korištenja.
 
Ključ leži u glavnom cilju takvih kompanija da mi kao čitatelji ne bi uočili ključne detalje oko postupanja s našim osobnim podacima i otkrili pravu istinu.
